• Delivery of Out of Stock Items
  

  If the item you have selected is out of stock it will show the date the incoming stock will be available for despatch.

  If you place an order of more than one item which includes an out of stock item, we will send the available items straight away and send out of order items as soon as they arrive.

  We will not charge any additional postage for this service.  

• Do you deliver abroad?
  

   Currently the website takes orders for delivery in the UK, however we are happy to take orders for delivery outside of the UK, but will need to calculate any additional postal costs and add them to the order total. 

• How do I place an order.
  

   1.Select the page you are interested in eg.Greetings Cards.

   2. Choose the design you wish to order(Click on the horizontal arrow bottom right and wait for the

        enlargement to appear.

   3. Select how many you want in the "Quantity" box.

   4. Click on "Add to Order".

   5. Click on "Continue Shopping" to add more designs to the order as required.

   7. Select first or second class post.

   8. Input the billing address and delivery address.

   9. Click on the "Pay Now" button which will take you to the payment gateway.

   10. You can make payment either by credit or debit card or by using your Paypal  account.

   11. You will recive a confirmation email detailing your order.

• Do you give talks or classes on Batik
  

   As this is the way in which I make a living I have to commit all of my time to making and selling which does not permit me to give classes etc.

• What sizes do the scarves come in?
  

   Scarf Dimensions are as follows:

  Silk scarves 150cm x 40cm ( may vary slightly)
  Velvet scarves 156cm x 26cm

  Silk Shawls   156cm x 58cm (may vary slightly 

  Woollen Shawls 156cm x 58cm (may vary slightly)

  Scarf Prices:
  Silk scarves £ 49 each inc vat
  Velvet scarves £ 70.00 each inc vat

  Woollen Shawls  £85 each inc vat

  There will be variations in size from one print run to another.This is out of our control and is due to shrinkage rates which vary according to the paricular batch of fabric being used.

• What fabrics are the scarves made from?
  

   The silk fabric is 100% Crêpe de Chine, and the velvet is 68% viscose velvet + 32% silk. The velvet scarves are double skinned and machine finished.

  Woollen Shawls 100% Wool.

• What formats do the prints come in?
  

   

  Prints are in the following formats:

  SMALL PRINTS. Image size is 136mm w x 138mm h . Price £16 each inc vat (unmounted) £19.50 each inc vat (mounted)

  MEDIUM PRINTS

  Images are Rectangular: 400 x 290mm (15.5 x 11.5 in)* Price: £ 50 each inc vat (unmounted) £ 55 each inc vat (mounted)

  Square: 300 x 300 mm (12 x 12 in)* Price: £ 50 each inc vat (unmounted) £ 55 each inc vat (mounted)

  Frieze: 400 x 90mm (15.5 x 3.5 in)* Price:£ 40 each inc vat (unmounted) £ 45 each inc vat (mounted)

   

  LARGE PRINTS

  Image size is 500mm w x 500mm h  Price £135 each inc vat (unmounted) £150 each inc vat (mounted)

  PLEASE NOTE,the prices given for the mounted versions of the print relate to the following:

  Mount border top and sides of 70mm and 90mm at the bottom edge.There is also 15mm white"bleed" all the way around the image.So to reach the o/a mounted print dimensions add 170mm to the width of image size and190mm to the height.

  The mount  is a double  mount in a light cream colour (Slater - Harrison "Colourmount" no.981)

  All dimensions relating to the image size(excluding the mount) and are subject to minor variations.

  The finished mounted print size can be customised to suit individual requirements.We do use a standard

  size mount for  the SMALL PRINTS so that the finished,mounted size is 270mm w 278mm h.

  It is possible to enlarge the images if required subject to technical limitations but please enquire if would like to know about this option.

   

   

• What is the colour of the mounting that the prints are on?
  

  The prints are normally presented in a window mount, the colour is pale cream or white.

• What are the sizes of the greeting cards?
  

  We have two sizes of greetings card, all are blank inside - title, dimensions and code number are displayed with each illustration. All dimensions are in centimetres.
