A hungry bird reaches for some berries to help see it through the long cold winter.
Batik is a technique that originated in the Far East - Jane Hickman has been practicing this medium in England for some 40 years. Fine detail can be achieved with this complex method of painting using dyes and wax resist onto cotton or silk fabric.
Window mounted in off-white conservation grade board and signed by the artist.
