The rain has stopped at last.Fields are soaked and ditches gurgle.This week we have seen roads transformed into streams.Streams coloured clay red.Lakes of flood water all along the flood plain.Roads engulfed.Lorries ploughing through huge pools creating Bow waves which cascade over oncoming vehicles.
