Post Chelsea

July 11th

It is just over 5 weeks since RHS Chelsea Flower Show.We had a very good show, meeting both new and existing customers.Apart from one or two heavy rain storms on day one the weather was kind.We do enjoy participating at Chelsea. It is a very demanding show. There is always a long list of things to do when we return to our home in Herefordshire.

The garden is now in full flow.Hedges need to be trimmed and grass cut.Our vegetable plot has been quite productive.A good crop of broad beans and reasonable results from the potato patch.

The pond, which is in its third year, had become somewhat crowded and so careful removal of water mint has made more space and now the water is clear. No sign of frogs or toads but we do have newts!

Our next show will be during Herefordshire Art Week(h.Art) As in previous years we look forward to returning to Stockton Bury Gardens near Leominster HR6 0HB.The show wiil begin on September 3rd and end on September 11th.

Recently Jane was contacted by photo-journalist Phoebe Jayes from The English Garden magazine. Phoebe had written a feature article about our work which was published in the May 2020 edition of The English Garden. She has now published an online version of above feature.
